After two days at DPLA's Appfest in Chattanooga, eight ideas were presented to attendees and a panel of local judges. It was amazing to see and hear what the teams were able to come up within a very short period of time, conceptually and graphically. In the end, the judges were drawn to one particular idea that focused on solving user discovery issues with the DPLA platform. Congrats to the DPLA-Plus team for wowing us all. We'll soon post links to all of the ideas and some of their moving parts. We're encouraged also to hear that some if not all of the teams intend to keep working on their apps post-fest!  

Congratulations to the DPLA-Plus team and to everyone who attended. Sorry, but that trophy is truly one-of-a-kind so only one team gets to keep it. But with all these great new ideas floating in the air, aren't we all winners now?
